After using Google’s latest browser for a week I have reached a verdict on its comparison to Firefox. I found that comparing Chrome to Firefox is like comparing apples and oranges (Fig. 2). I would say that for my use I like Firefox, but for more causal use I would say that Chrome is just fine. One thing that Google should add is a search bar separate from the address bar for people like me who have twenty-one search engines (Fig. 1).

Google now has launched their own browser called Chrome. I have not yet tested it, but I think that it could take a big chunk out of Internet Explorer’s market share (I’m not alone in this opinion). To find out more visit www.google.com/chrome. I have a hard time being enthusiastic however, because I’m a big Firefox fan.
